Welcome to the ‘mailbag’ for avirginsplea.com. I’ve tried to sort all the mail into four categories - positive / negitive, and before / after when the hoax was exposed.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did! Check back every day or so as I am posting new mail every few hours.

LMAO!! Who do you think you’re fooling?? You are to that dopey looking virgin from the website and you aren’t fooling anyone.
You obviously bailed on your little bet, probably because your lady friend was being called a skank too much, or because you yourself were sick of people laughing at you.
What you should have done is been a man and said that you couldn’t go through with it because you were embarrassed by all the attention. If you had done that, it would be at least some what respectable.
Instead you give us some ridiculous story about how it was all a big scam for marketing and the joke’s on us. Cute. But it’s bull. You are a goof and you did bet that woman to sleep with you over website hits. What a loser. You thought no one but strangers would visit the site and as a result you’d get to sleep with the pretty young lady. Instead the news, radio and probable everyone you know found out about it. You got embarrassed, and you bailed.
Be a man and admit. This attempt at fooling us is laughable.

A few things:
1) I don’t think this is something the media should be blamed or pinned for. They reported on something sensational, and that is the job of the media. The Toronto Star does the same thing (only much worse, and usually factually incorrect anyway)
2) It was a very smart, clever marketing trick that proved successful. As a resident of Toronto I accept the apology but rest assured, it was a clever trick (and probably would have been a lot more accepting had it been done around April Fools!)
Now, notwithstanding all that, the only thing I have to say negatively is the reasons that “Geoff” was a “virgin” and what happened with his ex-fiancee. I don’t necessarily think it was wise to pull at heartstrings like that - cheating and extra-marital affairs are serious business. At first, the ex-fiancee was made to be the villian (and rightly so - I’ve dated people who have only ever cheated on me), but instead was only an innocent victim - now fully discredited. Im not so sure it was wise to do that.
Either way, what you wanted to do, you did. It worked, it was successful, I don’t agree with people who called you every name in the book and then some; they probably would not have been able to pull off such a successful, well-packaged promotion as you have. I read some of the comments: Norway, Romania, the United States ?? - all these places covered the story, and when you make it into the New York Post or other worldwide media, that’s a very successful, well-targeted effort that deserves one word: congrats.

I really think you should be charged for fraud. You wasted alot of peoples time and made them believe in something that wasn’t true. Who’s to say you won’t do more scams like taking people outta there hard earn money.
Im sorry but its people like you who make all of us not trust people out there.
I feel sorry for you and i hope karma gets you in the ass.

I think these guys fake site wouldn’t have been visited if the Toronto Sun would have really done there in depth reporting then probably just receiving some sorta spam from this guy about his site.
It makes me wonder what sorta education do you need to be a reporter? I bet you can drop outta grade 8 and if you can put sentences together and tell a story you can report on any spam that comes in your email folder.
I bet the reporter didn’t even meet with the so called guy who wasn’t really a virgin. Probably just saw some number and email and some sorta plea to put his story up and Toronto Sun fell for it. I bet they feel really stupid for putting up a story. I say someone make up a story about a lost child and see if the Toronto Sun will report on it. I bet they will.
